We promised you a mix at the beginning of the summer but we failed to deliver; we are offering it now; it’s about the tail end of all summers but most of all, the Greek summer. If you haven’t been through one, you have no idea what it’s like.
Most bloggers would put together a bunch of songs with the word “summer” in their title caring little about the sonic aesthetics. To me, it has to be Pop. And although I’m probably missing some new stuff having been out of the loop, you ‘ll still catch a glimpse of the exotic via the instruments, the bossa, the lyrics and the melancholy – just a dash of it. Hopefully it will evoke something to you, whatever it is that summer means to you, be it romance, memories of bonfires, friends gatherings on the beach or endless hangover days and nights and dancing half-naked (no-way huh??.
